AZB & Partners advised the Indian Semiconductor Mission and Deloitte on granting fiscal incentive to SiCSem Private Limited for setting up India’s first compound semiconductor (SiC) fabrication, assembly, testing, marking and packaging facility in Odisha’s Info Valley, Khordha district.

The leading law firm in India, AZB & Partners advised Indian Semiconductor Mission and Deloitte in connection with the grant of fiscal incentive to SiCSem Private Limited, a step-down subsidiary of Archean Chemical Industries Limited, for the establishment of India’s first compound semiconductor (SiC) fabrication and assembly, testing, marking, and packaging facility in Info Valley, District Khordha, Odisha.

The facility will have a committed capacity of 5,000 wafer starts per month for SiC fabrication and 8 million units per month for SiC ATMP. The total estimated project cost is approximately INR 2,000 crore.
