Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM) advised NextGen Invent Corporation and NGI Ventures Private Limited on their acquisition by Straive, a global provider of Data & AI operationalization solutions and a portfolio company of EQT.
Under the transaction, Straive acquired 100% of the equity interests in both NextGen Invent Corporation and NGI Ventures Private Limited.
The deal represents a strategic expansion of Straive’s capabilities within the fast-evolving Data & AI landscape, enabling it to further support the delivery of enterprise AI solutions across international markets.
NextGen Invent is a technology and engineering services firm specializing in artificial intelligence, data engineering, and digital transformation. With this acquisition, Straive looks to broaden its service portfolio across Generative AI, Agentic AI, cloud modernization, and industry-focused AI solutions, while building on NextGen Invent’s engineering strengths to speed up enterprise AI adoption.
