The Supreme Court of India will hear on May 14 an application by Rani Kapur, mother of late industrialist Sanjay Kapur, seeking to stop Priya Kapur and others from interfering with the RK Family Trust. This comes while mediation between parties continues.
The legal dispute over late businessman Sunjay Kapur’s estate intensified after Rani Kapur accused Priya Kapur of bypassing court-monitored mediation to gain control of disputed family assets before the Supreme Court Bench of Justices JB Pardiwala and Ujjal Bhuyan.

Rani Kapur has moved the Delhi High Court seeking cancellation of the Rani Kapur Family Trust, alleging it was created fraudulently to remove her from her estate. She also accuses Sunjay Kapur and Priya Kapur of forgery therein.
