In Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, a 13-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and repeatedly raped over several days. The incident occurred when the girl left home to purchase vegetables. Police have registered a case and are currently investigating. One individual has been arrested in connection with the crime, according to authorities.

On the evening of April 26th, the 13-year-old was on her way to buy vegetables when a car stopped beside her. A man inside, identified as Vishnu, asked her for directions to an address. As she attempted to assist him, Vishnu forcibly pulled her into the vehicle.

The teenager recounted,

“After a short distance, he stopped the car at a medical store from where he purchased a bottle of water and some medicine, which he mixed into the water. He forced me to drink the spiked water,”

She added,

“Soon, I lost consciousness. I was taken to a hotel, where I was handed a fake ID of a girl named Reshma and forced to sign it. He forced himself on me and threatened to hunt me and repeat the act in the future,”

The girl stated that Vishnu then contacted an accomplice named Narayan, and together they abandoned her partway. Another man, Sanjay, then picked her up and took her to his residence.

The girl said,

“He gave me cold drink after which I lost consciousness. I woke up the next morning and asked for my phone. But the SIM card was taken out. From there, he took me to his sister’s home and forced me to marry his brother,”

The girl’s father stated that he resides in Delhi with his wife and son, while their daughter lives with her grandparents in the village.

The victim’s father, Shivram Singh, said,

“My daughter went missing on April 26 and was found only on May 1. During this time, she was taken to multiple places and wrongdoings were done to her,”

Distraught by the incident, Mr. Singh is demanding justice.

He said,

“We don’t have any other option than to die. We want justice and nothing else. Who will marry our daughter?”

Following Mr. Singh’s complaint, the police initiated an investigation and registered a case. The girl was rescued on May 1st, and one of the accused has been apprehended.
