Yesterday, On 28th September, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Yadav emphasized the state’s commitment to protecting intellectual property rights (IPR) in light of evolving global challenges. He assured that the government would implement comprehensive strategies to ensure the security and promotion of IPR.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated on Saturday that his government is committed to taking all necessary measures to safeguard intellectual property rights, anticipating future complexities.
He remarked,
“In the coming days, challenges will emerge regarding the determination of intellectual property rights for research, inventions, ideas, and pharmaceutical formulas, raising concerns about the protection of such knowledge,”
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized the growing challenges of protecting intellectual property rights in the future, highlighting the complexity and importance of the issue.
At the inaugural ceremony of a colloquium on intellectual property rights, Yadav stated,
“In the future, we will face various challenges in safeguarding intellectual property rights. This issue is as intricate as it is crucial, and these new challenges will inevitably increase the judiciary’s workload.”
He further added,
“The state government will take all possible steps to address these challenges by collaborating closely with the judiciary and following its recommendations.”
The event featured Supreme Court Justice Jitendra Kumar Maheshwari as the chief guest, with addresses by Justice Satish Chandra Sharma of the Supreme Court and the newly appointed Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court, Suresh Kumar Kait.
Speakers emphasized the need for protective measures in light of advancements in technology, such as artificial intelligence.
The two-day colloquium saw participation from judges across the state.
