Yogi Govt Appoints 12 New AAG for Allahabad High Court: 2 Seniors, 1 Woman Among Them

PRAYAGRAJ: On June 3, the Government of Uttar Pradesh released an official notification announcing the appointment of 12 advocates as Additional Advocates General (AAGs) who will now represent the state in cases before the Allahabad High Court.

These lawyers have been chosen from both benches of the High Court – Allahabad and Lucknow.

Among the 12 newly appointed AAGs, there are two senior advocates and one woman advocate, making this appointment notable for its diverse representation.
