The Delhi High Court directed the Grievance Appellate Committee to decide within 15 days an appeal seeking removal of Dhruv Rathee’s YouTube video alleging Hindu deities consumed meat and alcohol. The Court warned that any non-compliance with its order would be viewed seriously.
The Delhi High Court sentenced Gulshan Pahuja to six months’ imprisonment and a Rs 2,000 fine for criminal contempt, observing that he showed “no regret,” continued making scandalous submissions against the judiciary, and was “neither repentant nor deserving of any mercy.”
ANI has filed a defamation suit against YouTuber Mohak Mangal in the Delhi High Court, accusing him of making false claims of extortion and copyright misuse. The suit also includes comedian Kunal Kamra and activist Mohammed Zubair for sharing Mangal’s video, which ANI claims harms its reputation and misuses its trademarks.
