The Delhi High Court has given a final chance to Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and others to respond to the ED’s plea seeking removal of adverse trial court remarks in the excise policy case. The Court warned that if no reply is filed, the right to respond will be closed and arguments will be heard on April 22.
The Delhi High Court sought responses on ED’s plea to remove trial court remarks made while discharging Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, saying, “Nobody can stop me from passing an order… see how much strain you put on the judge.”
The Kerala government informed the High Court it will appeal against a trial court’s critical remarks on CM Pinarayi Vijayan while hearing the corruption case against ADGP MR Ajith Kumar. The HC extended its stay on proceedings till September 18.
