Supreme Court Justice N Kotiswar Singh said judges are suffering from high blood pressure and health issues due to extreme work pressure and stress. He also highlighted the poor working conditions of district court judges and the pressure they face while handling cases.
Justice B V Nagarathna said South Indians should not feel isolated just because they don’t speak Hindi and stressed the need for moderation in language use in courts. She highlighted India’s linguistic diversity and said English connects southern states in the judicial system.
CJI B R Gavai asserts that the Supreme Court should not revolve around the Chief Justice alone. He calls for democratic functioning and equal partnership between bar and bench.
