The Supreme Court of India has announced a change in the Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) holiday for 2026. As per the circular issued on 22 May 2026, the holiday will now be observed on 28 May instead of 27 May.
The Supreme Court has released its 2026 calendar, detailing the complete list of vacations and working days for the upcoming year. It also announces that ‘Partial Court Working Days’ for the annual summer vacation will formally begin on June 1.
