The Delhi High Court on Friday agreed to urgently hear a PIL challenging the suspension of mobile internet services at and around Jantar Mantar, the site of the ongoing student protest. The matter is set for hearing today.
Chief Justice of India Surya Kant remarked that the Supreme Court would intervene if the metro station near the court remained closed by afternoon, after the SCBA highlighted the inconvenience caused to lawyers, litigants, and court staff.
