The Gujarat High Court has rejected Asaram’s plea for 20 days’ temporary bail to visit his hospitalised wife, after a police report and doctors’ statements showed she had responded to treatment and was likely to be discharged in two to three days, but allowed him to seek permission to speak to her by video call.
