A Delhi Sessions Court has stayed the Magistrate’s early morning order granting bail to IYC President Uday Bhanu Chib in the India AI Impact Summit protest case. Police had challenged the 3:30 AM bail order after alleging security breach and raising of “anti-national” slogans during the shirtless protest.
A Delhi court remanded Indian Youth Congress National President Udai Bhanu Chib to four days’ police custody in connection with the India AI Impact Summit protest. Police alleged he was involved in planning and monitoring the demonstration, calling it a “case of conspiracy.”
Faizal Khan, under Madhya Pradesh High Court order, saluted the national flag 21 times and chanted “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” at Bhopal’s Misrod police station. This was a condition for his bail after being charged with anti-national slogans. The court aims to instill national pride during his ongoing trial.
