The Supreme Court Collegium approved twelve judicial appointment proposals across the Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab and Haryana High Courts, including promotions of judicial officers, elevation of advocates to the bench, and regularization of additional judges to strengthen judicial capacity.

The Supreme Court Collegium in a meeting held on June 2, 2026 approved twelve proposals for judicial appointments across four High Courts. The list includes a combination of existing judicial officers being promoted, advocates being elevated to the bench, and additional judges being regularized.
These recommendations are meant to cover the High Courts of Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab and Haryana.
The largest set of proposals pertains to the Karnataka High Court, where six advocates have been recommended for elevation as High Court Judges:
- Shri Raghavendra Seetharam
- Srivatsa
- Smt. Hema Kulkarni
- Shri Subramanya Rangarao
- Shri Thadagavadi Prakash Vivekananda
- Shri Bakkeswara Pramod
- Shri Hombe Gowda
- Shanthi Bhushan
For the High Court of Himachal Pradesh, the Collegium has approved the appointment of three current judicial officers. They are:
- Shri Chirag Bhanu Singh
- Shri Bhupesh Sharma
- Shri Yogesh Jaswal

The Collegium also recommended the appointment of one advocate, Shri Amit Lahoti, as a Judge of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh.
Lastly, for the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, the Collegium approved making two Additional Judges permanent. The recommended judges are:
- Shri Justice Harmeet Singh Grewal
- Shri Justice Deepinder Singh Nalwa
After these approvals, the recommendations will be forwarded to the Central Government for final consideration, and will thereafter be notified by the President of India.
