Punjab Pastor Bajinder Singh From Viral 'Yeshu Yeshu' Video Faces Sexual Harassment Case

PUNJAB: A case of sexual harassment has been filed against a pastor in a village in Punjab’s Jalandhar district, as per the police report on Sunday.

A woman has complained that she and her parents have been regularly visiting the church since October 2017. During this time, Pastor Bajinder Singh, who became famous for the viral “Mera Yeshu Yeshu” video, took her mobile number and started sending her messages.

She stated that she felt scared of him and could not gather the courage to tell her parents about it.

According to the complaint, from 2022 onwards, Singh used to make her sit alone in a cabin inside the church on Sundays.

During these times, he allegedly

“hugged and touched her inappropriately.”

Pastor Bajinder Singh has a large following on social media, and his videos are frequently seen on YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. In recent months, several celebrities, including actors “Chunky Pandey and Aditya Pancholi,” have endorsed him.

The police have officially registered a case against him under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including “354 A (sexual harassment), 354 D (stalking), and 506 (criminal intimidation).
