A deceased man’s photograph created chaos in a Bhopal court after it was allegedly used to secure bail for members of the notorious Irani Dera gang. JMFC ordered an FIR against the lawyers, notaries and all fake witnesses.
A deceased individual reportedly made headlines in a Bhopal court when a judicial magistrate’s first class (JMFC) court instructed police to file an FIR against a couple of lawyers, notaries, and fraudulent witnesses who allegedly used the photograph of a dead man to secure bail for members of the notorious Irani Dera gang.
This gang had been arrested for rioting, impeding police duties, and other offenses during a police operation on December 27-28.
The Bhopal police have initiated a fraud and fabricating documents case against six individuals including two lawyers, an oath commissioner, and two individuals who provided bail bonds for the arrested gang members.
Notably, one of these bond providers was deceased, while the other had no legal claim to the land he offered as collateral for the bail.
Following the JMFC Laxmi Waskale’s directions, an FIR was filed at the Nishatpura police station. DCP Mayor Khandelwal stated that IPC sections 420 and 467 were applied against the six accused and mentioned that the court mandated a police investigation.

The FIR was issued due to multiple BNS sections for obstructing police duties. Following the approval of the bail, the son of one of the bond providers revealed that his father was deceased, prompting the prosecution to appeal to the sessions court for bail cancellation.
Ultimately, the JMFC court ordered that an FIR be registered against the six individuals involved; however, the public prosecutor clarified that only the bail bonds were deemed fraudulent, not the bail itself.
