DELHI: In the murder case at a Burger King outlet in west Delhi’s Rajouri Garden, the Patiala House Court on Friday(28th June) remanded one of the accused, Bijender alias Golu, to seven days of police custody. The arrest comes in connection with the murder of Aman Joon, who was shot dead in a brazen shootout on June 18.

The Delhi Police made their first arrest in the case on Friday, apprehending Bijender, who is alleged to have been involved in the shootout. According to the authorities, two other suspects involved in the incident remain at large. The duty magistrate, Bharti Beniwal, presided over the hearing and granted the police’s request for Bijender’s remand.

The investigation officer (IO) presented Bijender in court, accompanied by an application seeking his custody for seven days.

The IO argued that –

“The accused needs to be interrogated in custody to uncover the conspiracy behind the offense.”

The police emphasized the necessity of taking Bijender to Madhya Pradesh to trace the source of the pistol used in the murder and to Uttar Pradesh to identify the source of the cartridges used in the crime.

The IO further stated that-

“The accused can aid in the apprehension of other perpetrators.”

indicating that Bijender’s cooperation could lead to the apprehension of the remaining suspects. Advocate Manmeet Singh, representing Bijender, did not object to the police custody request.

After considering the submissions from both sides, Duty Magistrate Bharti Beniwal granted the seven-day custody of the accused, facilitating the police in their efforts to delve deeper into the conspiracy and locate the remaining perpetrators.

The investigation aims to uncover the full extent of the conspiracy behind the shocking murder at the Burger King outlet. The Delhi Police are determined to trace the origins of the weapons used and bring all involved individuals to justice.

As the investigation progresses, the authorities hope to gain critical insights from Bijender’s custodial interrogation, which may lead to the resolution of the case and the arrest of the absconding suspects. The police remain vigilant and committed to ensuring that all those involved in the heinous crime are held accountable.

The case of the recent Burger King shooting in Delhi, Bijender, an accomplice in the crime, has been arrested by the Delhi Police. He is scheduled to be produced before the court on July 5, following the expiration of his police custody. This incident, which sent shockwaves through the capital, involved three individuals who arrived on a motorcycle, with two of them entering the establishment and opening fire on the victim. Bijender was identified as the person sitting on the motorcycle during the shooting.

Adding a twist to the case, a viral post by Himanshu Bhau has surfaced, taking responsibility for the Burger King murder. The post also mentions the name of Ajit alias Kalia. Kalia, a notorious figure, was arrested a few days ago by the Special Cell of Delhi Police from Goa in connection with the Fusion car showroom firing case. According to sources, Kalia played a crucial role in providing logistics to the shooters on Himanshu Bhau’s instructions.

“Ajit, also known as Kalia, supplied weapons and information to the shooters who attacked the Fusion car showroom.”

The police are also investigating the possibility that Kalia might have ordered these shooters to commit the crime at Burger King. The involvement of Kalia in orchestrating such crimes highlights his pivotal role within Himanshu Bhau’s gang.

Sources from the Delhi Police emphasized the importance of questioning Kalia, noting that –

“It is crucial to interrogate Kalia because he recruits new members into Himanshu Bhau’s gang as per his instructions and facilitates them with logistics for committing crimes.”

This revelation has opened new avenues in the investigation, as the police aim to dismantle the network of this criminal gang.

The Delhi Police are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to uncover the full extent of the gang’s operations. The arrest of Bijender and the questioning of Kalia are expected to yield significant insights into the gang’s modus operandi and their involvement in various criminal activities across the city. The authorities are determined to bring all those involved to justice and ensure the safety and security of the residents of Delhi.

As the investigation progresses, the police are also focusing on the viral post by Himanshu Bhau, analyzing its content to gather more information about the gang’s activities and their potential plans. The post has become a crucial piece of evidence in the ongoing probe, and the police are working diligently to trace its origins and verify its authenticity.
