“I am fighting a big battle to save my country from the corrupt. That is why they are behind bars today and not getting bail even from the Supreme Court,” PM Modi said.

Meerut: On Sunday (31st March): Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly defended his fight against corruption, saying that the opposition can’t stop him. At his first rally in Uttar Pradesh for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, he criticized the India alliance and his dedication to removing corruption to build a better future for India.
During the event, Modi highlighted the contrast between his administration’s anti-corruption efforts and the actions of some political factions aiming to shield corrupt individuals.
“Our nation stands at a crossroads in this election—a choice between the relentless pursuit of transparency by the NDA and the India Alliance’s protection of the corrupt,” Modi declared,
emphasized the importance of integrity in governance.
The Prime Minister’s comments came after a major rally organized by the India Alliance in New Delhi, showing support for leaders facing serious charges.
Modi criticized these political attempts to intimidate him and disrupt his anti-corruption agenda. However, he reassured the audience of his resolve, stating,
“No matter the stature of the corrupt, they will face action. Those who have wronged the country will be held accountable.”

Modi also revisited the Katchatheevu island, criticizing previous administrations for compromising India’s territorial integrity.
“PM Modi emphasized his relentless battle against corruption, stating,
“I’m engaged in a significant fight to rid my country of corruption, leading to the incarceration of corrupt individuals without bail, even from the Supreme Court.”
He portrayed the election as a choice between two distinct paths.
“On one hand, the NDA is dedicated to purging corruption; on the other, the INDI (A) Alliance aims to shield corrupt officials. It’s up to you to decide if you want a future free of corruption,” he conveyed during the Meerut rally.
Addressing the corrupt, Modi asserted,
“Corrupt people should listen. No matter how many attacks you make on Modi, this is Modi; he is not going to stop. No matter how big the corrupt person is, action will definitely be taken. The one who has looted the country will have to give it back. This is Modi’s guarantee,” he said.
“Our administration is already laying the groundwork for our next term. We’re drafting a strategic plan for the upcoming five years and are quickly deciding on the key actions to be taken in the initial 100 days.
“Over the past decade, you’ve witnessed just a glimpse of the progress we’ve achieved. Now, it’s time to elevate our nation to greater heights,” he stated.

The Prime Minister shared his personal connection to poverty, stating,
“Having experienced poverty firsthand, I deeply understand the struggles, the pain, and the hardships faced by the impoverished.”
“So I made schemes to address every concern of the poor. We have not only empowered the poor, but we have also given them back their self-respect,” PM Modi said.
Rashtriya Lok Dal president Jayant Chaudhary, who has recently aligned with the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance,. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, and veteran actor Arun Govil, the BJP candidate for Meerut, also showed their support, illustrating the broad backing for Modi’s leadership and vision.
As the Lok Sabha elections approach, Modi’s rally in Meerut highlights a campaign focused on fighting corruption, enhancing national security, and promoting development. He made it clear: the battle against corruption won’t stop, aiming for a better future for India.
