NEW DELHI: Today(20th July),The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results of the NEET-UG 2024 exam on its website, following the directives of the Supreme Court.

This decision comes after the Supreme Court’s intervention to ensure transparency and fairness in the examination process. The court emphasized the need for transparency in the publication of results, stating-
“The petitioners suggested that publishing the NEET-UG 2024 results on the website would enhance transparency regarding the center-wise marks obtained by candidates.”
In its directive, the Supreme Court instructed the NTA to make the marks obtained by students in the NEET-UG 2024 exam publicly available while safeguarding the anonymity of the students.
The court specified-
“We instruct the NTA to publish the NEET-UG 2024 exam marks while masking student identities. The results should be released separately for each center and city.”
The NTA has complied with the court’s order, ensuring that the results are accessible online, providing a transparent overview of the scores while protecting student identities. This step is seen as a significant move towards maintaining the integrity of the examination process and ensuring that all candidates are treated fairly.
Students and stakeholders can now check the results on the official NEET website, and the detailed scores are available, categorized by examination center and city. This method of result publication aims to provide a clear and comprehensive understanding of the performance across different regions, promoting fairness and transparency.
