Mathura CJM Court has directed an FIR against Aniruddhacharya following a petition citing a viral video where he allegedly made offensive remarks about women, marriage age, and modern lifestyles. Meera Rathore, petitioner and Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha leader, will update media on next steps.

A significant development has taken place in the case concerning religious orator Aniruddhacharya, as the Mathura Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Court has directed the filing of a First Information Report (FIR) against him for allegedly making objectionable remarks about women.

The court’s decision comes following a petition filed by Meera Rathore, the Agra district president of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, who demanded strict action against the orator.

In her petition, Meera Rathore referred to a viral video in which Aniruddhacharya reportedly made offensive comments about young women, marriage age, and modern lifestyles.

According to her, the remarks were insulting and showed a lack of respect towards women.

The court record noted,

“Her plea cited a viral video in which Aniruddhacharya allegedly made insulting comments about young women, marriage age, and modern lifestyles,”

Earlier, Aniruddhacharya had faced criticism for his statements but defended himself by claiming that his words had been misinterpreted.

Despite this, the court has now taken cognizance of the matter, which has considerably escalated his legal troubles.

The records show,

“Despite criticism, he had earlier claimed his statements were misinterpreted,”

Following the court’s order, Meera Rathore is expected to address the media in Mathura to discuss the next steps and provide further updates regarding the case.

As part of the ongoing investigation, additional statements from relevant parties will also be recorded.

The court proceedings stated,

“Meera Rathore will address the media in Mathura to outline the next steps, while further statements will be recorded as part of the investigation,”
