Reports indicate that a CRPF school in Dwarka, along with another in Prashant Vihar (where a blast occurred last year), received threatening emails.
In addition, three courts including Saket Court, Patiala House Court, and Rohini Court also received similar threats.
Secretary of the Saket Bar Association, Anil Basoya, stated,
“R/Member, court work is suspended for the next 2 hrs due to a security issue. Proceedings resume after lunch once cleared. Stay calm, cooperate & avoid crowding,”
Following the alerts, police officials, along with Fire Department teams and bomb squads, arrived at the locations and facilitated the evacuation of students and staff.
Authorities at all sites have confirmed that nothing suspicious has been detected during the investigation. They continue to look into the sources of the threatening emails.
Officials reported,
“The schools are located in Prashant Vihar and Dwarka, and the bomb threat calls were received around 9 a.m. We checked both the schools thoroughly, and nothing suspicious was found. It was declared a hoax,”
In response to the threat, security measures across all district courts in the national capital have been intensified, with officials remaining on high alert as a precaution.
