Jaipur: Today, on July 01, Bomb threat incidents in Jaipur are continuously creating fear among the public, with a fresh scare reported recently at the Sessions Court located in Bani Park.
The situation turned tense when the court administration received a threat via email on the official ID of the Sessions Court. Without delay, they informed the local police about the situation.

Upon receiving the alert, the police team from Bani Park Police Station, led by officer Brijmohan Kaviya, reached the location and evacuated the entire court premises.
According to officer Kaviya,
“a bomb threat was received through an email sent to the Sessions Court’s official ID”.
He further said,
“The police were informed by the court administration. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and evacuated the court premises.”
To ensure the safety of everyone, a complete and detailed search operation was carried out by the bomb disposal squad and dog squad.
A civil defence team was also deployed to assist in the operation. After checking the court complex thoroughly, the authorities confirmed that no suspicious object was found. This brought a sigh of relief to the police and court administration after hours of panic.
Officer Kaviya added,
“An intensive search operation was carried out on the court precincts with the bomb disposal squad and the dog squad. A civil defence team was also deployed on the spot; however, no suspicious object was found during the search.”
This is not the first time courts in Jaipur have received such threats. Earlier, on May 29, both the Family Court and District Court in Jaipur were targeted with similar bomb threats.
The court premises, along with nearby government offices, were searched by the police, bomb squad, and security teams. Fortunately, nothing suspicious was found there either. At that time, the threat mail sender identified himself as a former Naxalite.

Not just courts, other locations in Jaipur have also been targeted. Bomb threats have been issued to Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur Metro Rail Station, schools, and hospitals.
The Palace School and ESIC Hospital at Jaleb Chowk recently received bomb threats. Sawai Mansingh Stadium, in particular, has been threatened five times in a row.
Similarly, the Metro Rail Station has been the subject of multiple bomb threat emails, all of which turned out to be hoaxes after thorough security checks.
Despite the continuous false alarms, each threat leads to full-scale operations by the police and bomb squads, consuming time and resources and causing fear among citizens.
Law enforcement agencies are treating each email and call with utmost seriousness, even though no explosives have been found so far.
The repeated nature of these threats has raised questions about public safety and the need for a stronger mechanism to trace and stop the source of these messages.
The legal and security authorities continue to remain on high alert, with ongoing efforts to investigate the origins of these emails and hold those responsible accountable under strict laws dealing with public mischief, criminal intimidation, and terrorism-related offences.
