Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Today, the Aurangabad bench of the Bombay High Court, located in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city in Maharashtra, received a serious bomb threat through an email. This caused panic and led to an immediate and thorough search of the court premises by the police.

According to an official who spoke to PTI:
“The HC administration conveyed this threat to us and our teams have gone there. Our teams are thoroughly checking the court building, including garden and parking areas.”
The bomb threat was sent via email to the High Court bench. After receiving this alert, the High Court authorities quickly informed the local police department. In response, the police sent multiple teams to handle the situation carefully and securely.
Special teams including the bomb detection and disposal squad, cyber crime unit, sniffer dog squad, the special branch, and local police officers were all involved in the search process. They checked every corner of the court building to ensure the safety of everyone inside. The search also included outdoor areas like the garden and parking lot to make sure no part of the premises was left unchecked.
The Aurangabad bench of the Bombay High Court is situated on the busy Jalna Road in central Maharashtra, making this threat a serious matter considering the foot traffic and importance of the area.
As of now, there is no confirmation of any explosive material being found. The police are continuing their investigation to identify the sender of the email and to understand the motive behind this bomb threat.
