Chief Justice of India Surya Kant announced a digital program to integrate judicial data and improve access to court services. He said the judiciary is introducing the ‘One Case One Data’ initiative to unify information from all courts.

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant announced the launch of a major digital program intended to improve the integration of judicial data and enhance public access to court services nationwide.

At the start of the day’s proceedings, the CJI stated that the judiciary is rolling out the “One Case One Data” initiative, which will bring together multi-level information from all High Courts, district courts, and taluka courts into a single unified system.

The CJI said,

“We are commencing the ‘one case one data’ initiative with multi-level information of all high courts, district and taluka court details embedded. We look forward to developing an efficient case management system,”

The initiative is expected to streamline case management by building a more complete and interconnected digital database across courts in the country.

The CJI also announced the launch of “Su Sahay”, an AI-powered assistance chatbot integrated with the Supreme Court website to make it easier for litigants to access justice and related services.

The CJI said the chatbot was developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) in collaboration with the Supreme Court Registry.

He said,

“We are also launching ‘Su Sahay’, an assistance chatbot for our website, developed by the NIC in collaboration with the Registry. This will provide a simple and convenient interface for citizens to seek front-end guidelines and guidance in accessing essential services of the Supreme Court,”

He praised the efforts of Registry officials and Bar members for supporting the digital initiatives.

The CJI added,

“My best wishes to the Registry and to the officers who have done this commendable job. I am quite confident that these initiatives will prove beneficial for all stakeholders,”
