In an effort to enhance the festive and communal spirit of the day, the Supreme Court has also arranged for the distribution of special Yoga T-shirts to all participants. Following the Yoga sessions, attendees will be treated to a healthy breakfast, fostering a sense of community and well-being among the judiciary staff and officers.

The celebration not only marks a decade of recognizing Yoga’s benefits on a global scale but also highlights the Supreme Court’s commitment to the health and wellness of its members.

The International Day of Yoga, observed annually on June 21, continues to raise awareness about the significant impact of Yoga on enhancing physical and mental health globally.

The involvement of Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud and other Supreme Court judges in the 10th International Yoga Day celebrations is quite significant. Yoga, with its proven benefits for stress reduction, flexibility, and overall health, offers a valuable tool for individuals in high-pressure roles, such as those within the judiciary. This can lead to improved decision-making, greater emotional resilience, and a more balanced approach to the demanding aspects of judicial work.

Moreover, organizing such events within the Supreme Court premises makes yoga more accessible to the staff and encourages their participation in a meaningful way. This inclusivity can foster a stronger sense of community and support among the staff and officers, which is essential for a cohesive work environment.

Overall, celebrating International Yoga Day within the judiciary is a commendable step that highlights the importance of integrating traditional wellness practices into modern work settings to enhance overall productivity and well-being.
