Chief Justice of India, Justice Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai, visited Prasanthi Nilayam in Puttaparthi on Saturday as part of the ongoing Centenary Celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. His visit added significance to the spiritual gathering, which has been attracting devotees from across India and abroad.

Justice Gavai received a warm and respectful welcome from RJ Rathnakar, the Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, upon reaching the Ashram.

The Trust members and devotees expressed happiness over the Chief Justice’s presence during this important milestone year.

During his visit, Justice Gavai offered prayers at the Maha Samadhi of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. He spent a few moments in silent reflection at the sacred site.

Those present shared that the Chief Justice appeared deeply moved by the calm and spiritually rich atmosphere of Prasanthi Nilayam, a place widely known as the “Abode of Supreme Peace.”

The Ashram, which draws lakhs of devotees every year, is celebrated for its peaceful surroundings and the values taught by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Justice Gavai’s visit highlighted the continued influence of Bhagawan’s teachings on people from all walks of life, including members of the judiciary.

Before concluding his visit, Justice Gavai expressed his appreciation for the serene environment of Prasanthi Nilayam and acknowledged the values upheld through Bhagawan’s mission.

His presence was seen as a gesture of respect towards the enduring spiritual and social work carried out by the Sri Sathya Sai Organisation.
