Today, On 12th September, C. P. Radhakrishnan has officially taken oath as the 15th Vice-President of India. Former Vice-President Dhankhar was seen at the swearing-in ceremony for the first time since his sudden Resignation, drawing significant attention and media coverage.

CP Radhakrishnan was sworn in as the 15th Vice President of India during a formal ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday.
President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath.
The event was attended by prominent leaders, including Prime Minister Modi, Amit Shah, and Rajnath Singh.

Former Vice Presidents Jagdeep Dhankhar, Venkaiah Naidu, and Hamid Ansari were also present. Additional attendees included Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria, Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar, and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
Following the ceremony, Radhakrishnan paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat.
The NDA candidate was elected Vice President on Tuesday, receiving 452 votes compared to 300 votes for opposition candidate and former Supreme Court judge B Sudershan Reddy.
The election was prompted by the unexpected resignation of the previous Vice President, Jagdeep Dhankhar, on July 21 due to health issues.
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar made his first public appearance at the ceremony since his unexpected resignation , which resulted in the vacancy of his position.
His absence from public view had raised ongoing questions from the opposition regarding his condition and whereabouts, prompting them to seek answers from the government.
At the oath-taking ceremony, Dhankhar was seen seated alongside former Presidents Venkaiah Naidu and Hamid Ansari.
