NEW DELHI: PM Narendra Modi on Saturday praised the Union Budget for the financial year 2025-26, which was presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
He called it an-
“important milestone in India’s development journey”.
He said,
“This is the budget of aspirations of 140 crore Indians… [It] fulfils dreams of every Indian.”
He emphasized that this budget is focused on the needs and desires of common people, making it a
“people’s budget”.
According to him, it will help in increasing
“savings, investment, consumption and growth rapidly”.
PM Modi highlighted that the budget has been designed to support the economic progress of the country while also benefiting every Indian citizen.
