Despite bringing the matter to the attention of the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court, no action was taken, according to the judge’s claims.
In response to the judge’s plea, the Chief Justice of India directed the Supreme Court to communicate with the Allahabad High Court, requesting an update on the status of all complaints filed by the woman judicial officer.
Furthermore, the judge filed a complaint with the Internal Complaints Committee of the High Court, which took six months to begin an inquiry. However, she later criticized the investigation, calling it a sham because of the purported bias of the witnesses, who were said to be subordinates of the accused district judge.
In December 2023, the judge approached the Supreme Court to seek a fair inquiry into her case. Unfortunately, her plea was dismissed by a Bench led by Justice Hrishikesh Roy.
