Uttar Pradesh: Today(on 22nd March), The Gautam Buddh Nagar court has granted bail to the well-known but contentious YouTuber Siddharth Yadav, popularly known as Elvish Yadav, amidst allegations surrounding his involvement in a drug-related controversy.
Elvish Yadav, a figure known not just for his online presence but also as the victor of the reality series Bigg Boss OTT 2, found himself under the scrutiny of the law following a raid initiated by the Noida Police. This action was spurred by a complaint from the animal rights organization People For Animals (PFA).
The raid, which took place in a banquet hall located in Sector 51 of Noida, resulted in the apprehension of five individuals, among them Yadav, who is accused of hosting events characterized as rave parties. These gatherings allegedly featured the use of snake venom, a dangerous and unconventional substance, as a form of entertainment.

“The court heard the bail application and granted bail in the case, with the requirement that the individual furnish two bail bonds of Rs 50,000 each to be submitted in court.”
-stated Advocate Prashant Rathi.
Despite the court’s decision, Yadav’s release from Luksar Jail in Greater Noida, where he has been detained since March 17, is anticipated to face delays.
Advocate Deepak Bhati, representing Yadav, expressed-
“We have initiated legal proceedings. We would apply for provisional acceptance of the bail bonds so that release order is issued at the earliest. It may be issued tonight or may take a few days, considering the court will be closed for Holi holidays from tomorrow.”
Yadav’s legal representation is extensive, with Advocates Prashant Yadav, Ravi Yadav, Himanshu Yadav, Deepak Yadav, Aman Yadav, Bhavya Joneja, and Prashant Rathi all stepping forward to defend him.

The charges against Yadav are severe, encompassing the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, the Wildlife Protection Act, and the Indian Penal Code. These laws represent the legal framework within which the allegations against Yadav are being examined, pointing to the accusations related to drug use and wildlife protection.
