Hyderabad, March 19: The Telangana High Court has quashed an FIR filed in March 2020 against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for allegedly flying a drone without permission. The case, which was registered at Narsingi police station, accused him of using a drone to take pictures of a building in Janwada.
At that time, Revanth Reddy was a Congress Lok Sabha MP from Malkajgiri. He was arrested in connection with the case but later filed a petition in the High Court to have the FIR dismissed.
During the hearing, the court was informed that the area where the drone was flown, which included a cricket ground and its surroundings, was neither a restricted nor a prohibited area.
After reviewing all relevant documents and evidence, the court decided to quash the case against Revanth Reddy on Wednesday.

Background of the Case
