He stated that Bhavani Revanna had cooperated with the investigation, answering all 85 questions posed to her, contrary to the State’s claims of her non-cooperation and misleading responses.
Previously, Bhavani Revanna had been granted interim anticipatory bail with conditions, including avoiding Mysore and Hassan districts where the crime allegedly occurred. The High Court upheld this bail, reiterating the restrictions on her movements except for investigation purposes.

Bhavani Revanna faces accusations of kidnapping a woman sexually assaulted by Prajwal Revanna to prevent her from filing a complaint. Prajwal, currently in custody, is accused of assaulting multiple women and recording the acts in over 2,900 videos, which surfaced publicly last month.
The Court also stipulated that Bhavani Revanna must cooperate fully with the ongoing investigation. To this effect, she was directed to appear before the concerned investigating officer at 1 PM on the day of the order.
Furthermore, the Court imposed a condition that Bhavani Revanna must avoid the areas of KR Nagar in Mysore district and Hassan district, where the alleged kidnapping offense took place.
The Court’s interim order came in response to a petition filed by Bhavani Revanna, seeking protection from arrest in the kidnapping case. The matter is scheduled for a further hearing next week, where additional details and arguments are expected to be presented.
The allegations against Bhavani Revanna are serious. She is accused of being involved in the kidnapping of a woman who was reportedly sexually assaulted by her son, Prajwal Revanna. Prajwal, who is currently under arrest, faces multiple accusations of sexually assaulting several women and recording the assaults.
The case against Prajwal Revanna has garnered significant attention due to the severity of the allegations and his political background as a suspended leader of the Janata Dal (Secular) party. The accusations against him have led to public outrage and calls for stringent legal action.
The High Court’s decision to grant interim anticipatory bail to Bhavani Revanna, while providing her temporary relief, underscores the importance of her cooperation with the investigation. The legal proceedings continue to evolve, with the next hearing poised to shed more light on the intricate details of the case.
After fleeing to Germany, he was arrested upon his return to India on May 31, and his custody has been extended until June 18.
Both of Prajwal Revanna’s parents face related kidnapping allegations. HD Revanna, initially arrested and released on bail, has a pending plea from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) seeking to cancel his bail and a petition to quash the case against him.
Bhavani Revanna’s request for anticipatory bail, previously extended on June 14, was finalized in today’s ruling.
