Hyderabad : The Hyderabad Police’s She Teams initiated legal proceedings against a High Court advocate, who previously served as a government pleader, for allegedly engaging in harassment and stalking a woman within the confines of the court premises. She claims that he has been engaging in inappropriate behaviour, including coercing her into providing sexual favours. Additionally, she accuses him of consistently stalking her and using his position of influence to blackmail her. The officials stated,
“Following the receipt of the complaint, the She Teams swiftly initiated an investigation into the claims. Support and legal advice are being offered to safeguard her rights. An FIR has been lodged against Sanjay Kumar for violating Sections 354, 354D, 506 of the IPC, at the Charminar police station.”
