After a full court meeting, the Chief Justice approved a reshuffle appointing new Principal District and Sessions Judges to nine Delhi courts, aiming to streamline judicial administration and improve court efficiency across the capital.
New Delhi: The Delhi High Court announced the reassignment of Principal District & Sessions Judges across nine courts in Delhi, following a reshuffle decision.
Chief Justice DK Upadhyay finalized the decision during a full court meeting held on April 30.
This reshuffle includes transfer and new postings of senior judicial officers across various district courts. The Delhi High Court administration issued this order to streamline judicial work and improve efficiency in handling matters in subordinate courts.

The nine judges and their new postings are:
Kanwal Jeet Arora – Principal District & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (PC Act) (CBI), Rouse Avenue Courts Complex
Vinod Kumar – Principal District & Sessions Judge (East), Karkardooma Courts
Shail Jain – Principal District & Sessions Judge (South), Saket Courts
Madhu Jain – Principal District & Sessions Judge (West), Tis Hazari Courts
Virender Kumar Bansal – Principal District & Sessions Judge (New Delhi), Patiala House Courts
Anju Bajaj Chandna – Principal District & Sessions Judge (North), Rohini Courts
Gurvinder Pal Singh – Principal District & Sessions Judge (North-West), Rohini Courts
Nivedita Anil Sharma – Principal District & Sessions Judge (South-East), Saket Courts
Sukhvinder Kaur – Principal District & Sessions Judge (Shahdara), Karkardooma Courts
It is important to note that Principal District and Sessions Judges play a key role in managing trial courts, allotting cases, and ensuring smooth functioning of judicial work in their respective districts.
