Last week, Chief Justice Agarwal changed the roster of a judge who had raised concerns about the behavior of a judicial officer working in the court registry.

After this, a senior lawyer at the High Court asked GHCAA to take a stand against these sudden roster changes, which also included changes in another judge’s roster.

Because of these developments, the GHCAA held a general body meeting today, where they unanimously passed a resolution regarding the issue.

Earlier, GHCAA President Brijesh Trivedi had a heated argument with Chief Justice Agarwal in open court.

“Trivedi had alleged that the Chief Justice never allows lawyers including Senior Advocates to complete their arguments.”

Even though it seemed like the matter had been resolved earlier, the recent changes in the roster have once again led to criticism against Chief Justice Agarwal. This situation has forced the bar association to take action.
