Turkish firm Celebi moves Delhi High Court after India cancels its security clearance citing “national security reasons.” The action follows Turkey’s support for Pakistan after Operation Sindoor.

Turkey-based aviation company Celebi has gone to the Delhi High Court after the Indian government cancelled its security clearance.

This decision by the Centre came just a day earlier and was based on national security reasons.

The Centre took this step soon after Turkey showed support for Pakistan during tensions with India following Operation Sindoor.

The government had clearly stated that Celebi’s security clearance was being withdrawn due to “national security reasons.”

This has now become a major point of discussion, especially because Celebi is a well-known ground handling service provider in India’s aviation sector and operates at several Indian airports.

After the cancellation, Celebi decided to challenge the government’s decision legally.

The company filed a petition in the Delhi High Court, hoping to get relief against what it sees as an unfair cancellation.

Celebi has argued that the action taken against it is sudden and not justified. According to the petition, the government’s move was not properly explained and has badly affected the company’s work in India.

Sources have confirmed that the Centre’s decision was influenced by Turkey’s “support for Pakistan during hostilities with India after Operation Sindoor.”

This has raised concerns over Celebi’s connection to a foreign nation whose political stance is seen as unfriendly by India in the current context.

The company is now waiting for the Delhi High Court to hear its plea and give a fair judgment.

The outcome of this case will be important, not just for Celebi but for other foreign firms operating in India as well, especially in sensitive sectors like aviation.

This case highlights the growing importance of national security in business decisions and shows how international politics can impact business operations inside India.
