A Delhi Court rejected requests by Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi seeking 1,600 unrelied documents in the land-for-jobs case, with Judge Vishal Gogne warning it would derail the trial process at its outset stage.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) informed a Delhi court of a “prima facie” case of money laundering involving Congress leaders Sonia and Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case. The case originated from a complaint by Subramanian Swamy, alleging financial misconduct and misuse of funds related to the newspaper’s acquisition and operations.
New Delhi, March 11: The Rouse Avenue Court on Tuesday(11th March) granted bail to Tej Pratap Yadav, Hema Yadav, and other accused individuals in the Land-for-Job scam case. They appeared before the court following the summons issued to them. Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, and Misa Bharti filed exemption applications.
Today(30th Sept), Delhi Chief Minister Atishi Marlena has challenged the summoning order in a defamation case, leading the court to issue a notice to BJP leader Praveen Shankar Kapoor. The matter is scheduled for a hearing on October 7 before both the Special Court and the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate.
