A US federal court directed Gautam Adani to file an affidavit by July 15 disclosing whether any promise, offer or agreement was linked to the US Department of Justice’s request to dismiss the criminal indictment against him and seven others in an alleged bribery case.
Last month, the Department of Homeland Security revoked Harvard’s authorization to enroll international students, risking the status of existing students. A federal court blocked the Trump administration’s ban, deeming it illegal retaliation. Harvard challenged the actions, claiming they targeted the institution unfairly, arguing for the protection of its international student community.
