Today (13th March): The Delhi High Court has admonished the Public Works Department (PWD) for neglecting tree maintenance along the city’s roadsides. The court demanded detailed information on the 3.9 lakh trees planted by the PWD and instructed them to provide evidence before the next hearing on March 19. The PWD’s explanations were challenged, emphasizing municipal responsibilities.
