The Bombay High Court has overturned a previous decision that denied Yamaha’s trademark application for “WR,” citing confusion with Honda’s “WR-V.” The court criticized the Registrar of Trade Marks for inadequate reasoning and failing to consider Yamaha’s global reputation since 1990. The application will be reevaluated accordingly.
