Kerala High Court has permitted the SIT to collect gold samples and inspect the Sreekovil door amid allegations of massive gold misappropriation at Sabarimala temple. The court said, “The investigation must reach everyone who was part of the gold theft, directly or indirectly.”
The Delhi High Court ruled that the Jain Sabha Dharmarth Trust must keep the idol seat for Devi Padmavati vacant after renovations, emphasizing the importance of faith and long-standing worship traditions. The idol, moved during renovations, cannot be replaced with another, and its current location must continue to accommodate rituals until further hearings.
