NEW DELHI: 2nd April: The Supreme Court of India has strongly criticized Telangana Chief Minister (CM) Revanth Reddy for his controversial statement in the State Legislative Assembly. The Congress leader allegedly assured members of the opposition Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) that there would be no bye-elections even if they switched sides to the ruling Congress party.
Telangana DGP commented about the Pushpa 2 stampede case involving Allu Arjun, saying that “the law will take its own course.” During a year-end press meet on December 29, he did not share more details, as the case is sub judice. The incident received a lot of attention, but officials are not revealing much. Investigations are still happening, and the legal process will decide the result.
