The Supreme Court has directed former Telangana SIB chief T Prabhakar Rao to surrender by 11 am on Friday for further investigation in the phone-tapping case. The court also allowed him home-cooked food and regular medication during custody.
The Supreme Court granted T Prabhakar Rao interim protection from arrest in the phone-tapping case linked to the previous Telangana government. Rao must cooperate with investigators and provide an undertaking to return to India. He is currently in the U.S. after a Red Corner Notice was issued against him.
