The Supreme Court of India issued the Guidelines for Designation of Senior Advocates, 2026, replacing 2023 norms, following Jitender @ Kalla vs State ruling, after Full Court approval on February 10, 2026, led by Chief Justice and judges nationwide.
The Supreme Court of India has invited online applications for Law Clerk-cum-Research Associate posts for the 2026–27 term, offering Rs 1,00,000 per month on a contractual basis. Eligible law graduates and final-year students can apply online till February 7, 2026, with the written exam tentatively scheduled for March 7, 2026.
