Today, On 23rd August, Gandhi’s lawyer, Kashi Prasad Shukla, informed that plaintiff Mishra’s health issues caused a delay in a defamation case against Rahul Gandhi. The court rescheduled the hearing for September 5. The case originated from remarks Gandhi made against BJP leader Amit Shah during the 2018 Karnataka elections. Gandhi surrendered to the court on February 20, 2024, and was granted bail.
