Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge welcomed the Delhi court’s refusal to take cognisance of the ED chargesheet in the National Herald case, calling it a blow to the Modi government’s alleged political conspiracy. He said the verdict proves that “victory of truth is certain” and reaffirmed Congress’s fight to protect democracy and the Constitution.
Tajinder Bagga told the Delhi High Court that Subramanian Swamy is a “perpetual defamer” and that he filed the case to protect his “hard-earned reputation”. Swamy seeks quashing of the criminal defamation case arising from his alleged false tweet.

Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi Today (July 4) called the National Herald case against Sonia Gandhi “truly a strange” one, claiming it involved no actual money laundering. He defended the Congress leaders, saying the move was to make AJL debt-free.
The ED Today (July 3) told a Delhi court that Sonia and Rahul Gandhi used Young Indian to quietly take control of assets worth Rs 2,000 crore. The agency called it a clear case of money laundering in the National Herald case.

New Delhi – 26th May: Senior BJP leader Dr. Subramanian Swamy has once again approached the Supreme Court of India, urging the court to direct the Central Government to declare Ram Setu as a national monument and recognize it as national heritage. In a new Public Interest Litigation (PIL), Dr. Swamy has requested that the Centre be directed to take immediate action on his earlier application.
