Sonam Raghuvanshi and her alleged lover Raj Kushwaha have been placed in 13-day judicial custody following the discovery of her husband Raja Raghuvanshi’s decomposed body in Meghalaya. The couple, main suspects in his murder during their honeymoon, were remanded after police chose not to extend their custody.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) successfully reenacted the Raja Raghuvanshi murder, clarifying each accused’s role and confirming the use of machetes. Despite finding most evidence, one machete remains missing. The recreation, including actions like destroying the victim’s phone, aids in building a stronger case against the suspects.
