The Delhi High Court heard appeals seeking details of PM Narendra Modi’s educational qualifications, with SG Tushar Mehta agreeing to file objections on delay. The case, led by AAP’s Sanjay Singh and others, will be heard next on January 16.

A Delhi court dismissed Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit’s defamation complaint against AAP leaders Atishi and Sanjay Singh, stating no valid grounds for proceeding. The judge, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Paras Dalal, noted there was insufficient evidence of defamation. Dikshit had sought Rs 10 crore in damages, claiming reputational harm.
New Delhi, March 21 – The Delhi High Court has declined to advance the hearing on the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) plea in the money laundering case linked to the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy. Justice Ravinder Dudeja, while addressing the request on Friday, stated that the court was dealing with several pending cases and it would not be possible to reschedule the hearing at an earlier date.
Bombay: The Bombay High Court has refused to lift the stay on the release of the film Shaadi Ke Director Karan aur Johar, stating that the title prima facie violates filmmaker Karan Johar’s personality rights. The decision was made on Friday by Justice RI Chagla, who ruled that there is a strong case supporting Johar’s claim.
Today, On 4th January, The Rouse Avenue Court reserved its order on AAP MP Sanjay Singh’s plea seeking modifications in his bail conditions. Singh, out on bail in the excise policy case, requested changes to facilitate his international travel for public welfare events. The court’s decision on the matter is awaited.
