On the order of the Calcutta High Court, the CBI Anti-Corruption Branch Today (Aug 24) registered a case against Sandeep Ghosh, the former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. ANI has reported that the CBI has filed an FIR against Sandeep Ghosh and started a corruption investigation.

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision to establish a 10-member Task Force to address violence against medical professionals.
