AAP minister Sanjeev Arora told the Punjab and Haryana High Court that his ED arrest in a money laundering case is “political victimisation” and sought parity with earlier orders protecting against vendetta, alleging proceedings driven by political rivalry in Punjab.
The Allahabad High Court’s Lucknow bench has admitted a criminal petition against Rahul Gandhi over allegations of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. The petitioner has sought a Central Bureau of Investigation probe, urging registration of a regular case and a detailed investigation into the claims before the court.
Arvind Kejriwal is set to appear before the Delhi Assembly’s Privileges Committee on Friday in connection with the ‘Phansi Ghar’ controversy at the Assembly premises.
